Placement Training

Soft skills, numerical problem-solving and job-specific training are imparted at various levels by in-house and professional trainers.

1. As part of the Entrepreneurship Week celebrations, a session titled “Protect Your Innovation:

A Student’s Guide to Intellectual Property Rights” was delivered by Ms. Sushmitha Kamath, collaborated with Yi, who brought valuable expertise and real-world perspectives, making the session highly engaging and informative. Students actively participated and gained a clearer understanding of how to secure their innovations and navigate the IPR ecosystem.

2. Creating Opportunities for Success in International Environments

Creating Opportunities for Success in International Environments” by Mr. Damian Kridlo, particularly in the German job market, provided valuable global perspectives, helping students appreciate the importance of effective communication in today’s global job market.

3. International programmes and global exposure opportunities

An Interaction with AJIET Students on “International programmes and global exposure opportunities” session by Ms.Kavitha GR, presently serves as an International Relations Advisor to IIT Dharwad and NIT Calicut.

4. GitHub Copilot Dev Days workshop

GitHub Copilot Dev Days workshop conducted in joint association with UniCourt and Microsoft. Hands-on, practical sessions focused on real-world development workflows.

5. Placement Training Sessions

The Placement Training Sessions were conducted to equip students with the essential skills required to meet industry expectations and succeed in campus recruitment processes. The training was designed according to students' domain-specific requirements and focused on bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world industry demands.
The sessions covered a wide range of topics, including aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, communication skills, group discussions, interview techniques, resume building, and professional etiquette. Domain-specific technical training was also provided to enhance students' knowledge and prepare them for roles relevant to their respective branches of study.
Through practical exercises, mock interviews, case studies, and industry-oriented assessments, students gained hands-on experience and improved their problem-solving, critical thinking, and workplace readiness skills. The training aimed to increase students' confidence, employability, and preparedness for recruitment opportunities offered by leading organizations.

6. Vigorous Training to Rapidly Solve Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning Problems

Professional Trainers train the students to solve Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning numerical problems with time efficiency. Students are also encouraged, by sharing the video links to visit video lectures and receive training on aptitude, logical reasoning, crosswords, puzzles, and language tutorials.

7. Weekly Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning Test

Weekly Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Puzzles Tests are conducted for all the branches of second-year and third-year students to equip them for the recruitment drives. With the incorporation of online software tools and electronic processing devices, the results are published on the same day of the test.

8. Soft skill Training

In-House Training- A team of trainers from the institution trains all the branches of second-year engineering students on effective communication skills, interview skills, group discussion, leadership, team building, stress management so forth. Information on realistic goal setting, the art of resume building, and group discussions are organized during stipulated Training and Placement hours.

9. Training on Programming Skills

Professional Trainers train the students in domain-specific training on C, C++, C#, .net, Java, SQL, Python, R and SDLC of full-stack development to ensure the students are industry-ready.

In-House Training –Students are trained on key skills of the latest programming techniques with emphasis on logic building, pseudo code construction, problem formulation and resolving. How to understand the IDE, code optimization in real-time using profilers, and space optimization for optimum storage are dealt with specifically for embedded system development.

10. Job-specific Training

Industry experts are invited to conduct hands-on workshops or deliver talks on state-of-the-art cutting-edge technologies that provide value-added support in shaping the career towards the corporate world.

Alumnus of the institution are invited to provide deep insight into the real-time projects undertaken in the industry and the underlying technology and tools.
