Science Direct is the web-based interface to the full-text database of Elsevier Science journals and Academic Press (Ideal), one of the world's largest providers of scientific, technical and medical (STM) literature. The Science Direct offers a rich electronic environment for research journals, bibliographic database and reference works. The database offers more than 1700 scientific, technical and medical peer-reviewed journals, over 59 million abstracts, over two million full-text scientific journal articles, an expanding suite of bibliographic databases and linking to another one million full-text articles via Cross Ref to other publishers' platforms.

Springer Nature:

Springer is a global scientific publisher, delivering quality content through innovative information products and services. It publishes high quality content in various formats like books, journals, newsletters, CD-ROMs, online platforms, protocols, databases and conferences. Springer organizes the Online Journals into fully indexed, fully searchable Subject Collections covering 11 subjects: including behavioural science, biomedical and life sciences, business and economics, chemistry and materials science, computer science, earth and environmental science, engineering, humanities, social sciences and law, mathematics, medicine and physics and astronomy. The Consortium subscribes to 1,495 journals for IITs and IISc, 1,300 journals for NITs and other core Institutions and 1,300 & 520 journals for the self-supported category. It covers vast range of subjects like Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, allied subjects, chemistry, physics, mathematics etc. It includes 689 journals and back titles from 1997 to till date.

IEEE Xplore digital library:

The IEEE Xplore® digital library provides access to IEEE journals, transactions and letters and IEEE- All Society Periodicals ePackage (ASPP) & POP (IEEE Proceedings Order Plan) All Full Text-access to research papers and findings from conference in a wide range of technology area. It includes 201 Journals and the core collection of IEEE conference proceedings from more than 1800 IEEE’s Conferences.

Emerald is global publisher linking research and practice of business and management. As a result we are developing a new digital research platform and plan for increases in yearly article growth. Today, we continue to nurture fresh thinking in applied fields where we feel we can make a real difference. And it’s providing 212 journals.

EBSCO Engineering Suite:

EBSCO is a leading provider of research databases, e-journal and e-package subscription management, and library technology. They partner with customers and other organizations to improve research and outcomes. Currently 6100 e-journals and 24015 e-books available.

Eduport Global –CBS:

The advent of EduPort Global in 2014 underscored CBS's foray into the digital domain, revolutionizing the distribution of online content and e-books. In response to the evolving demands of a dynamic market, CBS strategically assembled specialized teams to champion the cause of PG Entrance and Nursing segments. Under VTU consortium it’s providing 174 e-books access facility.

BSP E-Books:

BSP Books publishes a variety of books, including textbooks, reference books, and reprints of classics, low-priced foreign books, and conference proceedings. Currently under VTU consortium users can access more than 141 e-books.

Cengage learning:

Cengage is a global education and technology company built for learners. Cengage's products and services create learning experiences that build confidence and momentum toward the future students want and this platform included no. of 69 e-books mapped the VTU syllabus.

Cambridge university press:

Cambridge University Press (CUP) is a publishing house that's part of the University of Cambridge, under the VTU Consortium its providing access facility of 58 e-books.

Quiklrn- E-Books:

Quiklrn is a platform that offers e-books, e-courses, and other library content. Presently it’s includes 91 no. of e-books mapped the VTU syllabus.

DELNET-Developing Library Network

Library is a member of Developing Library Network (DELNET), which provides services like browsing of Union Catalogues, Inter Library Loan and Document Delivery Services. Students can access the Catalogues of other Libraries through DELNET and request the required books/documents to be procured from these libraries on loan for a limited period. It is a network of more than 1000 institutions and access is being given to more than 60 lakh records through online systems. It has been actively engaged with the compilation of various union catalogues of the resources available in member libraries. It has already created the union catalogue of books, union list of current periodicals, CD-ROM database. DELNET provides an array of facilities including E-mail to its member libraries including both institutional and associate institutional members. It has indeed been a big leap towards the modernization of libraries in India.

E-QUESTION PAPERS

The soft copy of VTU semester question papers are uploaded in the digital library software. The student users can avail the facility in the library and in the college campus network.

CD-ROM Database

The library also provides CD-ROM information facility to students and staff members.
